Are you currently booking custom work?

Yes! See below for inspiration

subjects I am booking for custom work: TARot themed tattoos, works based on vintage scientific illustrations. ocean creatures/ scenes, Birds, insects, matching tattoos with 2 or more people. large multi session pieces, such as a back piece or full sleeve (these will require a larger budget and take 3+ sessions over months).

What do I need to tell you about my Custom design ideas?

In general I’d say either include exactly what you want, or be flexible. I love making planned out pieces with an overarching concept, interesting story, symbolism, etc. At the same, time some of my best work has come from clients giving me a loose concept or a list of a bunch of things they like and letting me do my thing.

What are your rates?

I charge per piece and have a $200 minimum (excluding a few small flash.) Please estimate your budget when filling out the booking form. pricing is based on placement, detail, amount of design work, and size. I ask for budget because I want to design a piece for you within your ideal budget range- I don't want to create something too simple or too detailed! I also like working out budget ahead of time so my clients know what to expect and aren’t stressed about racking up an hourly rate if the tattoo takes longer than expected.

Cash is strongly preferred! Tipping is not required, but Similar to any service industry job, standard tipping etiquette for A single session tattoo is 15%-20%. Tips can be given in the form of cash, venmo or cool things

I offer sliding scale appointments for POC/trans folks, self harm scar coverups, and areola tattoos.

I Messaged you and haven't heard back - when will I hear back?

I try to respond to all emails within 1 week. If you have an urgent question or two weeks go by and I haven't replied, feel free to send me a follow-up email, bug me on instagram dm Or shoot me a text (my phone number is in my email signature) Please only text if you have a time sensitive question!

How do I schedule an appointment?

Submit a proposal online by clicking "Appointments" in the menu  above and filling out the form!

How long will my tattoo take?

I usually don’t like to work for more than 4 hours at a time. If you have a medium to larger piece, please leave your day open- I never rush a tattoo and I need to take breaks to stretch and eat, so its always best to allow extra time. If you want a time estimate, shoot me an email. Please let me know in advance if you know you’ll have a time restriction the day of your appointment.

What kind of ink do you use? Is it vegan?

I use Eternal Ink for color and Dynamic Ink for black. Both are vegan and made with plant-based glycerin.

Are you interested in trades?

Yes! I love trading tattoo work for all sorts of things. Email me and maybe we can work something out!

Can I bring a guest to my appointment?

one guest is fine. If you would like to bring more than one guest please let me know in advance!

When will I see the sketch/final drawing?

I can't guarantee you a sketch until the day of your appointment. If you need to see the drawing before your appointment, let me know and I can try to accommodate you. If you see your drawing and want to make a few minor changes, we can make those the day of your appointment.  We can also change the size and placement of the design at your appointment. we will make sure you’re 100% happy with the design before tattooing it.

What is the booking fee?

The booking fee reserves your spot and confirms your intent to show up to your appointment. It also helps cover the time I spend emailing, scheduling, researching ideas for your design, and drawing, which is why it is non-refundable. The booking fee is usually $50. It is not deducted from the overall cost of your tattoo. Minor revisions can be made to your sketch for free but I charge an additional booking fee if I have to redraw more than half of the design, so be sure to include as much detailed information about what you want as possible when submitting a proposal. Make sure to Read through the next two questions for more info about my booking process and rescheduling policy before sending the booking fee!

What is your custom booking process like?

After you submit a proposal and I review it, I will send you an email letting you know if I can work on your project. I'll also email you any questions I have, available dates, and instructions on where to send the booking fee. After I receive the booking fee your appointment is confirmed and we Brainstorm more about your piece.

I do not have time to accommodate in-person consultations for every tattoo, but I will usually do them for larger/ wrapping pieces. .

What if I have to reschedule?

If you give me at least 48 hours notice I can reschedule you immediately and you won’t need to pay another booking fee. Last minute cancellations loose me a day of work, so if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice you're forfeiting your booking fee and will need to pay another in order to reschedule.

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

Eat a good breakfast, drink lots of water and get as much sleep as possible the night before your appointment! I suggest packing a snack the day of your appointment. Avoid alcohol the night before your appointment. For best results, moisturize the area you want tattooed every day the week before your tattoo.
